About Hidden Tudors Tours

Welcome to Hidden Tudors Tours, the home of immersive historical experiences where you can uncover hidden stories and discover the rich history of the Tudors. Our tours are designed to bring history to life under the open sky as we take you on a journey through time.

Former teacher and founder of More Curricular, Yvette Reinfor, was inspired to create Hidden Tudors Tours when volunteering for Open House London, an annual festival dedicated to opening up London's architecture and buildings to the general public. After the tragic death of George Floyd in 2020, Open House London appealed for more narratives about black history. Yvette put forward the idea of a walking tour in Westminster about the story of black Tudors. It was a huge hit with participants, with tickets selling out within hours. Yvette continued to offer the walking tours for Open House London, even adding a second walk in Southwark.

The overwhelming popularity of the black Tudors walking tours led Yvette to make it a permanent part of her company, More Curricular. Hidden Tudors Tours aligned perfectly with More Curricular's mission to use education to transform learning by making it fun, engaging and inclusive.

Today, Hidden Tudors Tours has expanded to include more hidden Tudor stories and fun quests for history lovers, families and tourists alike.

Our interactive walking tours are not just about strolling through the streets - they are immersive experiences that encourage you to engage with Britain's past through analysis of historical evidence. We believe in developing critical thinking skills through hands-on history.
